Responsibilities:
– Contact to check shipping charges with suppliers: Foreign agents, shipping lines, airlines, coloaders, transport units… and other suppliers.
– Build and maintain good relationships with Agents and Suppliers to get the best support on prices and related services.
– Quote and update prices for the Sales department.
– Follow up closely on quotation and order requests from the Sales team to increase the successful closing rate.
– Research the market, grasp the market situation to develop a competitive purchasing price strategy, and proactively negotiate prices when the market changes.
– Check prices, analyze quotes, negotiate to come up with a good price plan for the Sales Department.
– Support the Sales Department to handle related issues.
– Carry out reports and other related work as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
– Graduated from University with majors in Business Administration, economics, foreign trade, maritime or engineering majors in logistics, port management and maritime transportation
– Experience: 1 year of experience in documents or other positions in the field of transportation, forwarding, and logistics
– Proficient in basic office information technology
– Foreign language: Good English
– Good negotiation and communication skills.
– Able to work well independently or in groups
